Guards
#1
Hayden Lescault, 6-4, 195, Jr., Folsom, Calif. (Vista Del Lago HS)
Last season Lescault started 24 games at guard. He averaged nearly nine points, four assists and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Coach Carr quote: "With Hayden you get a guy that is multi-facetted. He can pass it, shoot it and get to the basket. On defense he has long arms and can rebound. You also get really good experience with him.”

Marek Klassen, 6-1, 180, Jr., Abbotsford, B.C. (Yale Secondary HS)
Top scorer for Point Loma last season with 11 points per game. He shot 43 percent from 3-point range and 48 percent from the field overall.
Coach Carr quote: "Marek is a great shooter who is learning to be a point guard. His ability to shoot it really separates him."

Judd Welfringer, 6-5, 205, So., Mesa, Ariz. (Waukee HS)
Welfringer comes to Point Loma after playing one season at Drake. In high school, Welfringer was an outstanding all-around player averaging 17.3 points, 10.6 rebounds, 7.6 assist and three steals a game.
Coach Carr quote: "Brings a big, strong guard to our team. He can play three positions and do them all well. He is just a tough individual."

Malcolm Collins, 6-4, 205, Jr., Burbank, Calif. (John Burroughs HS)
Collins redshirted for Point Loma last season after transferring in from Los Angeles Pierce College where he was a second team all-conference selection.
Coach Carr quote: "Malcolm could benefit our team more than anyone with his athleticism. He is a guy that can go make a play or clean up a mess because he is so athletic."

Trevor Peterson, 6-4, 175, Fr., San Jose, Calif. (Leigh HS)
Peterson joins the Sea Lions to provide coach Carr with another option at the guard. In high school, Peterson was a prolific long range shooter, once hitting 11 treys in a game.
Coach Carr quote: "Trevor is a great shooter. Everyone thinks he is only a shooter but he really does a lot more things to help our squad."

Weston Ehlers, 6-2, 190, Jr., Leawood, Kan. (Blue Valley North HS)
Comes to Point Loma after gaining experience at San Diego Miramar JC last season. Ehlers was also an outstanding guard for Blue Valley North High School in Kansas averaging 18 points per game.
Coach Carr quote: "He is gutty, gritty and can really shoot the ball."

Oivind Lundestad, 6-4, 180, So., Kongsberg, Norway (Kongsberg Videregaaende)
Lundestad is another newcomer that is expected to provide depth at the wing for the Sea Lions. He is well tested in overseas play after being a four-year member of the national team.
Coach Carr quote: "Oivind is in the same mold as Hayden. He can do a lot of things to help you win, and he is very willing to do those things."

Taylor Wetherell, 6-0, 175, Jr., Aliso Viejo, Calif. (Junipero Serra Catholic HS) and

Javonte Sales, 5-10, 170, So., Cerritos, Calif. (Gahr HS)
Sales and Wetherall are both back to help man the point for PLNU. Both saw game action last season with Sales leading the way with 24 appearances.
Coach Carr quote: "Both bring very, very good leadership to this program. Both Javonte and Taylor are positive kids that are learning to be point guards and leaders. We are lucky to have both those guys."
Forwards
#2
Todd Campbell, 6-6, 195, Sr., Kenmore, Wash. (Inglemoor HS)
Campbell returns for his senior year after starting 20 games last season. He hit 52 percent of his shots from the field, and averaged 8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
Coach Carr quote: "He is our senior and our leader. Todd has played in lots of big games here. I am looking for him to be a senior leader and play a few different spots on the floor for us."
#10 Josh Richardson, 6-7, 230, So., Temecula, Calif. (Temecula Valley HS)
Richardson returns to provide depth at the front line. He saw action in 26 games last year. He shot 45 percent from the field and averaged 7.6 rebounds per 40 minutes.
Coach Carr quote: "Josh is a big, strong inside guy who is really good around the rim. He possesses a high skill level and is an excellent rebounder."

Carter Warnock, 6-9, 225, So., Tempe, Ariz. (Seton Christian HS)
Warnock was another part of the front line for coach Carr last season. He saw action in 18 games as a freshman.
Coach Carr quote: "Carter continues to improve. He is coming along in his conditioning. He is shooting the ball very well right now and is starting to rebound for us as well."

Blair Banker, 6-8, 220, Jr., West Lafayette, Ind. (Harrison HS)
Banker transferred into PLNU from the University of San Diego to give the Sea Lions another talented big man.
Coach Carr quote: "Blair gives us a more rugged and strong player than we have had on the inside in a while. He loves contact and scores well around the rim. He will go get a big rebound. I look forward to him having a big year for us."

Sam Okhotin, 6-5, 220, Fr., San Diego, Calif. (Westview HS)
Okhotin joins the Point Loma frontline after a successful high school career at Westview High School in San Diego.
Coach Carr quote: "Sam is a tough minded guy who does what is asked of him. He is a skilled player that can shoot the ball."

AJ Ussery, 6-9, 220, Jr., Huntington Beach, Calif. (El Cajon HS)
Ussery returns to give Point Loma a talented, well-rounded player. As a sophomore he hit 51 percent of his shots from the field and led the Sea Lions with 24 blocked shots.
Coach Carr quote: "At 6-9 he is very skilled. He is able to make plays that make us a better team and me a better coach. I can't teach some of the things he can do."

Arren Wells, 6-7, 205, Fr., Albuquerque, N.M. (Hope Christian HS)
Wells comes to PLNU out of Hope Christian in New Mexico where he was the 3A state Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
Coach Carr quote: "Arren can really run and a good offensive rebounder. He does well rebounding out of his area and we look forward to him having a good career here."
