PLNU Athletics

Trevor Peterson, a freshman guard from San Jose, Calif. (Leigh HS), helped fuel a strong opening-half run in the Sea Lions' game at Grand Canyon. With the game tied, Peterson stole the ball then knocked down a 3-pointer to put PLNU up 15-12. He would hit another trey for PLNU's next basket to put them up 18-14. Peterson scored six of the Sea Lions' eight points during a 8-2 run to take a first-half lead. Peterson finished the contest with eight points, three rebounds and two steals.
