Sam Okhotin, a freshman forward from San Diego, Calif. (Westview HS), scored a career-high 19 points, on 8-of-15 shooting, to lead PLNU to its first PacWest win of the season. He hit three 3-pointers and also pulled down four rebounds. Okhotin also scored eight straight points during Point Loma's run to erase a 13-point second half deficit.
