Mike Marcoux, a junior outfielder from Westminster, Calif. (Servite HS), returned from injury to provide the Point Loma baseball team a spark atop its order as the Sea Lions split a four-game series at Dixie State. Marcoux was 0-for-4 in the first game but then he collected six hits in his next 13 at-bats. He scored four runs, had two doubles, a triple and drove in four runs. Marcoux's final hit was a two-run, two-out triple in the top of the seventh inning of game 4 with the Sea Lions trailing 2-1. The hit gave them a 3-2 win a split in the series.
