Jonathan Tiggs, a freshman from Fort Worth, Texas (Crowley HS), moved up the Sea Lions' all-time top 10 list in both the 100m and 200m dashes, as well as the 4x400m relay team. He set PRs in both the 100m and 200m with times of 10.69 and 21.40, respectively. His 100m time helped him secure his seventh place spot on the Sea Lions' all-time top 10 list, while the career-best mark in the 200m propelled him from fifth to second. Tiggs also combined with Eddie Morrow, Sean Lewis and Marek Klassen to run a time of 3:12.97 in the 4x400m relay for the second-fastest time in school history.
