The Point Loma volleyball team captured the NCCAA National Championship without losing a match last week in Kissimmee, Fla. Alyssa Dwyer was named the Most Outstanding Player at the tournament after hitting .407 over the six matches with 91 kills and 17 blocks. The run through the tournament also lifted PLNU to 30-7 on the season. This is the most wins for the team since 2001. The Sea Lions concluded the year second in the PacWest standings and champions of the NCCAA.
