PLNU Athletics

The Point Loma men's tennis team exceeded all expectations at the PacWest Championships. The Sea Lions entered the tournament as the No. 7 seed but upset No. 2 seeded and No. 9 nationally ranked Fresno Pacific, 5-1. PLNU swept doubles and then closed out the match in singles. The Sea Lions then advanced all the way to the third place game, but fell to BYU-Hawaii to finish in fourth, three spots over their seed.
