Matt Rose delivered the game-winning goal in the 90th minute against Academy of Art. Right when the match looked to be heading to overtime, Rose received the ball just beyond midfield and quickly made his run to get a 1v1 with ART U goal keeper. Rose smashed a shot past the goalie and into the net for the game-winner with just 48 seconds remaining. This was his fourth straight match with a goal and he now leads PLNU with 11 points (four goals, three assists). Meanwhile, the Sea Lions are undefeated in their last five matches, which includes four wins.
