Sam Okhotin excelled in Point Loma's final two wins in Hawai'i, which extended the team's winning streak to five games. He averaged 21.5 points per game, making 11 of his 20 three-point attempts. He scored a season-high 22 points against Hawai'i Pacific, knocking down six three-pointers, the most by a Sea Lion since 2011-12. He then scored 21 points against Hawai'i Hilo with five more triples, six rebounds and three assists.
 
The junior from San Diego (Westview High School) now leads the Sea Lions in scoring with 12.3 points per game. He is also pacing the PacWest with a 53.8 3-point shooting percentage and ranks second with 2.9 treys per game.
