Devin Carter helped lead Point Loma to a perfect 3-0 week including an upset victory over No. 10 UC San Diego when the Sea Lions overcame a late five-run deficit to win 9-8. Carter was 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI against UC San Diego, including the game-winning hit on an infield single in the top of the eighth. On Saturday against Bethesda he was 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI in a 10-0 win. In the nightcap, Carter was hit by a pitch in bottom of the fifth to get the game-winning rally started for PLNU in a 2-1 victory. Carter is hitting .405 this season with six runs scored and nine RBI.
