PLNU Athletics

Kathleen Crossley shot a 146 (+2) to win the individual championship and lead the Sea Lions to a team championship at the Cougar Invitational on Mar. 2-3. Crossley earned just the second individual title in the history of the PLNU women's golf program. She closed out the tournament strong by shooting a 71 (-1) in the final round. She led all players in par-4 scoring (3.88) and was second on the par-3s (3.10). She also led the tournament with 25 pars and tied for first with five birdies. This is just the second ever tournament win for a Point Loma women's golfer.  The other came during the Sea Lions' inaugural season in 2011-12 when Andrea Mersino captured the Escondido Intercollegiate Invite.
