The Point Loma women's basketball team knocked off the top seed and No. 1 nationally ranked Alaska Anchorage, 64-63, in the first round of the NCAA West Regional on Friday, Mar. 13. Roya Rustamzada hit the game-winning shot for PLNU with 2.1 seconds left to lift Point Loma to this historic victory in just their first season as active NCAA Division II members.
