Soliaana Faapouli's throw of 143-1 (43.61m) in the discus moved her to third place in the Point Loma record books to highlight the Sea Lions' performance at the Long Beach Invitational on Saturday, Apr. 18. The senior thrower from Oceanside (El Camino HS) won the first flight at the meet with the best throw of her career. She jumped to third on the PacWest Performance list and was just short of hitting the NCAA Provisional Qualifying Standard of 144-4 (44.01m).
