Courtnie Marshall and the Point Loma defense earned their second shutout of the season when they blanked No. 14 Cal State LA 1-0. The defense allowed just seven shots to the Golden Eagles, including only two on goal, in the 90 minute match. Marshall, along with Morgan Pearce, Dottie Rhoten, Keagan Bolibol, goal keeper Ariel Oriarte and the rest of the Sea Lion defenders have allowed their opponents only 22 shots (eight on goal) and two goals in the first five matches of the season
