Marissa Bartello, (Fr., Laguna Hills, Calif./Laguna Hills HS), paced PLNU at the Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational as she finished fifth with a time of 17:53.9. She was the top freshman finisher in the meet. She helped lead PLNU to a fourth place finish in the meet and the school's best time at the event in its 20 years of attending by over a minute. She also bested her twin sister, Brianna, for the first time in the past two years.
