Heather Leavitt led Point Loma to a pair of victories last week, including knocking off PacWest-leaders California Baptist in four sets. She averaged 6.38 kills per set while hitting .396, both marks which were better than the week when she was named the AVCA National Player of the Week. In the win over CBU, Leavitt had 31 kills and 12 digs. Those 31 kills were the second-most on the season, and the most in a four-set match. She has increased her lead in the PacWest to over a half kill per set (4.8 to 4.28). PLNU has now won seven straight matches.
