Alex Brunk set the PacWest Championships single-game scoring record with 36 points in the opener against Academy of Art. The forward from Newbury Park, Calif. (Newbury Park HS), hit 14-of-19 shots from the field, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range. She scored 21 of her 36 points in the second half. She matched a career-high with 16 rebounds for her 11th double-double of the season. Brunk also added two steals and six assists in the loss.
