Kellen Sheppard opened the Sea Lions road trip by throwing seven scoreless innings against Hawaii Pacific. He allowed just two hits and one walk while striking out four in a 5-2 Point Loma win. The victory ran the Sea Lions' winning streak to 12 games. He is now second in the PacWest with a 1.06 earned run average over 34.0 innings pitched. At the plate during the week, he went 4-for-11 with two walks, an RBI and a runs scored.
