Marissa Bartello set the school-record in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:09.68 at the Ross & Sharon Irwin Collegiate Scoring Meet. It was the freshman's first time ever running the event. She beat the school-record previously held by Jessica Howard (2004) by nearly 15 seconds. She was close to the NCAA Provisional Qualifying Standard time of 11:05.0. It also was the seventh-fastest time in NCAA Division II this season.
