Ryan Garcia helped the Point Loma baseball team earn a pair of victories over defending PacWest champions Dixie State over the weekend. He went 4-for-14 in the series but also knocked in eight, scored three times and hit a pair of bombs. In the opener, he hit a two-run homer and a grand slam in his first two at-bats and finished with seven RBI in a game for the second time this season. It was also Garcia's third grand slam of the season. He leads the PacWest in RBI with 44 despite playing at least four less games than all the other leaders.
