Pries debuted as Point Loma’s leadoff hitter and center fielder in a four-game split with Chico State, hitting .375 (6-16) with two extra-base hits, three RBI and two runs. He was pivotal to Point Loma’s 4-3 comeback victory in the third game with a 4-for-5 performance. He hit his first-career home run in the third inning and he scored in the eighth to cut the deficit down to 3-2. After a game-tying home run by Kellen Sheppard in the ninth, Pries plated the winning run with a single to left field.
