Hannah Benoit Bucher raced in just one event but she made quite the impression in her first home meet with the Sea Lions. The sophomore transfer posted a time of 4:31.93 in the 1500k to get under the NCAA Provisional Standard by two seconds and move into fourth place on the 2017 NCAA Division II Performance List. That time won the race and set a new Point Loma school record which had been held by Lupe Ambriz since 1994.
