Kellen Sheppard hit .467 and pitched a complete game to help Point Loma sweep Fresno Pacific in a four-game series to close the season. Sheppard had the game-tying hit and go-ahead single in the 13th inning in the opener. He would add multiple hits and RBIs each of the next two games. Then in the finale, he pitched seven innings allowing six hits and one run while striking out seven and walking just one in a 4-1 victory. He was 4-0 with a 0.32 ERA over his final four starts.
