Beverly led Point Loma to a crucial road victory against Dixie State, scoring 23 points off the bench, including the game-winning free throws in a 74-72 victory. Beverly also had nine rebounds, two steals, two assists along with a 7-for-10 shooting performance from the field. The junior scored 13 points in the second half. Beverly drew a foul with 37 seconds left on the clock in a tie game after getting a block and defensive rebound on the other end. Beverly made both free throws to give Point Loma the lead for good.
