Micah Pries went 9-for-17 and had an extra base it in every game of the final series of the season to help the Sea Lions split against No. 3 Azusa Pacific and book a spot in the NCAA West Regional. In the series opener, Pries had a double, a single, and scored a run. The next game, the sophomore hit a solo home run. He followed that up with a 2-for-3 performance with a run and RBI. In the regular season finale, Pries went 4-for-5 with a home run, scoring three times. In the final game, he pushed his batting average for the season above the .400 mark with 11 home runs, 48 RBI, and a PacWest-leading 81 hits. He helped Point Loma win 29 games in conference play, which was tied for the most in the PacWest this season. Pries hit safely in each of the final nine games of the year.
