Kim shot an 8-under-par 136 in the 36-hole CA State Intercollegiate tournament. The junior posted a 69 (-3) in the opening round to match the previous Point Loma school-record, before following it up with a 67 (-5) in the second round. Four Point Loma golfers finished inside the top 10 in the CA State Intercollegiate and the team took first place with a huge 24-stroke margin. Kim set new school-records for lowest round and lowest two-round score in her first tournament as a Sea Lion. She shot a 69 (-3) in the opening round to match the previous school-record, before following it up with a 67 (-5). This was PLNU's first individual win since Samantha Stockton at the 2015 CSUSM Fall Invite.
