Shelby Groeneveld went 4-0 in her matches on the weekend. She opened the week with a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles with Michelle Torres over Hawai`i Hilo. She then backed that up with a dominant 6-2, 6-1 win over the Vulcans' Marina Colvee. Less than 24 hours later, Groeneveld led Point Loma to a crucial 4-3 win over Cal State LA to earn the season sweep. She made it a perfect 6-0 week in sets between singles and doubles as she won 6-2 in doubles, before sweeping Amanda Schneider 6-0, 7-5 at No. 1 singles.
