Pries hit five home runs in his first four games this week to tie the PacWest lead for home runs this season, while leading his team to four wins in six games. Pries extended his hitting streak to nine games, and he had a streak of home runs in four straight games. In the final three games of the week, Pries was a combined 8-for-14 at the plate with four RBIs and five runs. He had a home run in each win over Hawai`i Pacific and then belted three more in the first doubleheader against Fresno Pacific. Pries is now batting .353 with 17 home runs and 41 RBIs this season, and has reached base safely in his last 22 straight games.
