Brock Mackenzie scored 54 points, including hitting 15 3-pointers, over two games to help the Sea Lions become the first team to capture back-to-back PacWest Championships. The sophomore shooting guard scored 20 points, with six 3-pointers in the second-round game against Chaminade. He followed that up with 34 points, the second-most in the history of the PacWest Championships, in the title game against Biola. However, it was not just the 34 points that Mackenzie will be remembered for as he also hit the game-winning basket at the buzzer in overtime to give Point Loma the 98-95 win. Mackenzie scored 11 of the Sea Lions' 17 points in the overtime period, as he went 4-of-5 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc. He was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2019-20 PacWest Championships. Â
