Parker Scalzo recorded his first multi-goal game of the year and third of his career as he led the Sea Lions to their second conference win and third win overall this season to remain undefeated to earn his second weekly award in three weeks. The Sea Lions gave up the first goal of the 3-1 win over Concordia, and the junior helped Point Loma overcome that deficit quickly. Scalzo scored in the 34th minute after he rebounded a blocked shot and scored on the right side. Then at the start of the second half, he scored again with a header from a cross by Tim Siegfried for a 2-1 lead. Scalzo has helped propel PLNU to their first 3-0 start since 2011.
