Nathan Garkow pitched 5.1 innings of perfect baseball as he set down the first 16 batters he faced in the Sea Lions' second game of the season. The senior right-hander finished the game with six innings pitched and eight strikeouts while allowing only a solo home run. He did not factor in the decision but the Sea Lions went on to win the game 2-1 on a walk-off, bases-loaded single by Brett O'Toole.
