Claire Smith had a near flawless performance for the Sea Lions in their season-opener against Biola for a four-set win. The sophomore recorded a triple-double with 26 assists, 12 digs and 10 kills. The six-foot setter also had three aces and three blocks as she did a little bit of everything for the Sea Lions. She led the conference for the week in hitting percentage, ranked second in aces per set and also ranked among the top-8 in both assists and points per set. Smith is just the sixth Sea Lion to ever post a triple-double.
