Nathan Garkow threw seven shutout innings on Friday with 10 strikeouts to lead Point Loma to a 3-0 victory over Biola. He didn't walk a single batter and only allowed four hits to earn his first win of the season. In three starts this year, Garkow has 26 strikeouts and one walk with just eight hits allowed. He has brought his earned run average down to 0.49 this season with the only run allowed all year coming from a solo home run in his first start.
