After a long stretch on the road, the Point Loma Women's Basketball team returned to Golden Gymnasium this past Saturday for a Pac-West conference matchup. Sophomore Ellie Turk's career high performance led the team to a 84-65 victory against Hawaii Pacific. A fiery start, Turk put up 15 points in the first quarter, including two crucial three-pointers to keep the momentum with the Sea Lions. Turk not only performed on the offensive end but also excelled defensively, earning 5 rebounds off the glass. Ending the night with an impressive 21 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds names Turk the Sea Lion of the Week.
