Alexander Leischner won the title of singles champion at the ITA Division II West Regional this past weekend in Colorado. 

As the first PLNU Men's Tennis player to win the ITA Division II West Regional, Leischner's historic performance names him the Sport Clips MVP of the Week! 

Along the way to the singles title, Leischner defeated the No. 1, No. 8, No. 9, and No. 4 seeds.

With his singles championship, Leischner now advances to the ITA Cup in Rome, Georgia, where he will be one of 16 players nationally competing. The tournament, which will take place Oct. 12-16, will consist of eight regional winners and eight at-large selections
