Sophomore Oscar Casillas helped NAIA No. 19-ranked Point Loma Nazarene to a surprise win at the NAIA Regional Qualifier Tournament last week. The Sea Lion team earned an automatic berth to nationals with the win. Casillas shot 213 over three rounds of play at the Country Club of Soboba Springs. That tied him for the individual lead with Kevin Anderson of The Master's. Casillas won the first playoff hole, carding a birdie, to claim medalist honors.
