Volleyball outside hitter Tabitha Henken is the pick for the athlete of the week for the second week straight. Henken helped lead the Sea Lions to a 4-0 record over the weekend by sweeping Great Falls (Mont.), Montana Tech and NCAA Division II California State Dominguez Hills, and winning in five sets over No. 25 Carroll (Mont.). In the four matches, Henken had three double-doubles and totaled 82 kills (5.86 k/g), 36 digs (2.56 d/g), four service aces and a .441 hitting percentage.
The junior from Carlsbad, Calif., leads the nation in kills per game with 5.74 and also ranks third in the NAIA in total kills with 178. Henken was also named as the GSAC Player of the Week and the NAIA Player of the Week!
