During her four seasons with PLNU, the Sea Lions are 48-21-6 and have made the playoffs three of the four season. She has been a part of a coaching staff on a team that scored the PacWest's first-ever goal in the NCAA West Regional and allowed PLNU to dominate the PacWest awards. Ariel Oriarte has won back-to-back Goalie of the Year Awards (2014 & 2015), Keagan Bolibol (2015) and Sami Swanson (2014) took home Freshman of the Year, and Pearce (2015) and Matthews (2014) captured Defender of the Year.

Schindler played her collegiate ball at Point Loma, but her career was cut short in due to the impact of concussions. She graduated from Point Loma in 2010 with a degree in Nursing.
