IRVINE, Calif. -
Delaney McCraney continued her hot streak down the backstretch of the season by registering a match-high 16 kills against Concordia. However the Sea Lions could not overcome the No. 1 team in the NAIA as they fell 25-15, 25-22, 25-27 and 25-9 on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
The win allowed Concordia to complete a perfect 32-0 regular season. The Eagles will now move onto the NAIA National Championships in Sioux City, Iowa. The match also concluded the 2012 season for PLNU. The Sea Lions finish the year at 10-17 and at 6-10 in their first season in the Pacific West Conference.
McCraney has now led Point Loma in kills for three straight matches. She averaged 20 kills per match over those three contests.
Nicole Eiler also posted a match-high in digs with 17. She ends her career with 1,944 total digs.
