AZUSA, Calif.
- The Point Loma women's basketball team suffered a 57-31 loss at Azusa Pacific on Tuesday, Jan. 8.

This was the third straight win for APU which moved to 5-6 on the season and to 2-1 in the Pacific West Conference. The loss drops PLNU to 4-7 on the season (2-3 PacWest).

The Sea Lions grabbed their only lead of the game off Jessica Escorza's basket to open the game. APU would then score five straight points and never again surrender the lead.
