The Point Loma men's basketball team will welcome Notre Dame de Namur to town on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 4:00 p.m., in the Pacific West Conference home opener for the Sea Lions.

A LOOK AT THE SEA LIONS:
Point Loma comes into the game 6-4 on the season and 1-3 in the PacWest. It has alternated between wins and losses in its last six games to reach this point. This season, PLNU is averaging 79.3 ppg and is shooting .517 percent from the field. They have limited their opponents to .418 percent shooting and 67.2 ppg.
Hayden Lescault leads the team with 16.4 ppg and is tied for the team lead with 3.6 assists.
Marek Klassen is the Sea Lions' second-leading scorer with 15.1 ppg. He leads the team with 26 treys made this season and is shooting .377 from behind the arc. Newcomer
Junior Morgan is also in double-figures scoring this season with 12.7 ppg to go along with his team-leading 6.2 rebounds per game.
A LOOK AT THE ARGONAUTS:
Notre Dame de Namur is 3-6 on the season and 2-1 in the PacWest. The Argonauts won each of their last two games at home in PacWest Conference play as they edged Azusa Pacific 56-53 and Holy Names, 63-57. Don Washington is the team's leading scorer with 12.7 ppg. He has led the team in scoring in five of their nine games this season. Simon Enciso (10.9) and Micah Dunhour (10.6) are also averaging in double-figures for NDNU.
NEXT GAME:
This will be the final game before a competition hiatus for the Sea Lions. PLNU will be off for 11 days before returning to action on January 2 at home against Holy Names at 7:30 p.m.
