A LOOK AT THE SEA LIONS:
Point Loma enters Saturday's contest with a 5-20 record and a 2-15 mark in the PacWest. Last week, PLNU dropped a pair of games including a tight battle at home against Fresno Pacific (80-72). PLNU took a one-point lead on a layup by Todd Campbell with 6:48 remaining but FPU was able to answer with a 13-4 run to put the game away. The Sunbirds finished the game with a 56-26 advantage on points in the paint while PLNU hit 11 treys compared to just one for the Sunbirds.

The Sea Lions' defense continues to be one of the best in the PacWest. It leads the conference allowing just 61.6 points per game and ranks second in 3-point percentage defense (.316). They also rank fifth in defensive field goal percentage (.433) and steals (7.4).

Oivind Lundestad has taken over the team-lead in scoring with 7.2 ppg. He is hitting 36 percent of his shots from behind the arc and leads PLNU with 40 treys on the season. AJ Ussery has done a little bit of everything for the Sea Lions this season and it has shown up in the PacWest stats. He ranks 11th in rebounding (6.2) and eighth in blocked shots (1.1).

SENIOR SENDOFF:
Saturday's contest will mark the last game in the career of PLNU's Todd Campbell. Campbell has been a four-year letterwinner for the Sea Lions. He has started 90 of the last 105 games for PLNU. There will be a ceremony held before the game to honor this native of Kenmore, Wash. (Ingelmoor HS).

A LOOK AT DIXIE STATE:
The Red Storm will come into Saturday holding the No. 1 seed in the upcoming PacWest tournament. Dixie State is currently tied atop the standings with Grand Canyon with a 14-3 conference record but holds the tiebreaker for the top spot. DSC is led by Zach Robbins who averages 13.3 points and 8.5 rebounds. He is shooting 61.5 percent from the field and leads the PacWest with 1.9 blocks per game.
