SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma volleyball team will open its 2013 season this weekend with its annual Seaside Invitational Tournament. The Sea Lions will welcome in five other teams for a round-robin style tournament. Each team will play two matches on both Friday (Sept. 6) and Saturday (Sept. 7).

Other teams going PLNU will be fellow Pacific West Conference member Azusa Pacific, Great Northwest Athletic Conference affiliate Montana State Billings, Heartland conference member Texas A&M International and two CCAA schools in Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State Stanislaus.

The Sea Lions will open their tournament play against Cal State Stanislaus on Friday at 3:00 p.m. They will then turn around and face Montana State Billings later that night at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, PLNU will come back and face Cal State Dominguez Hills at 11:00 a.m., and then close the tournament out with a match against Texas A&M International at 7:00 p.m.

All matches during the tournament will be available free through live stats and on pay-per-view through video stream.
