Box Score SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - The Point Loma volleyball team picked up its first Pacific West Conference road win of the season, and third straight overall, with a 25-18, 25-13, 23-25 and 25-16 victory over Dominican (CA) on Thursday, Sept. 25.

Point Loma has started PacWest play 3-0, and is now 6-5 overall. The loss drops the Penguins to 2-9 (0-3 PacWest).

Delaney McCraney played her best match of the season en route to recording a double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs. She made just two errors on the evening to hit .348, while also adding a match-best three aces.
Heather Leavitt and
Alyssa Dwyer tied for the team-lead with 12 kills apiece.

Savannah Wedemeyer was even more of an offensive standout than usual for the Sea Lions. She dumped in a career-best seven kills, without and error, in nine attempts to post a .778 hitting percentage. She also added a double-double with 36 assists and 10 digs.

As a team, PLNU hit .270 on the night and held DU to a .140 hitting percentage. Also just one Penguin reached double-figure kills as the Sea Lions posted 53 kills in the match to the Penguins' 37.
