A look at the Sea LionsThe Point Loma women's soccer team is 2-2-0 on the season after losing a tough 1-0 match to Sonoma State last Saturday. The Sea Lions have dominated the stat sheet in their four matches, outshooting their opponents 48-18 and posting 16 more corner kicks (19-3).

A look at the CougarsCal State San Marcos is looking for its first win of the season. They have gone to overtime in all three of their matches, and earned a tie in each match they scored. Meaghan Randig and Natalie Lara have scored the two goals for the Cougars this year. CSUSM is coming off its second straight Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference Championship from the NAIA, but it has started the transition to NCAA Division II and the Cougars are now in their second year as well as members of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).
