AZUSA, Calif. - The Point Loma women's basketball team had its nine-game winning streak snapped by Azusa Pacific, 77-61, on Saturday, Feb. 13.

The Sea Lions are now 17-6 on the season and are in fifth place in the PacWest standings with a 10-5 record. Coach
Bill Westphal's win total stays at 595 for his career. APU remains tied atop the PacWest standings with a 14-1 conference record (20-3 overall).

Roya Rustamzada recorded her fifth double-double of the season for Point Loma with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Sydney Tonack led the team with 15 points, and also added eight rebounds.
Alex Brunk added 11 points and six boards.

Cydnie Jones was 6-of-10 from 3-point range for Azusa Pacific to lead all scorers with 21 points. She also added 12 rebounds to record the double-double. Kelly Hardeman added 19 points and Allison Greene chipped in with 11.

PLNU trailed 37-31 at the half and they would cut it to four (49-45) with 3:20 left in the third quarter but APU answered with a 6-0 spurt and PLNU would never be as close again.
