This week is the end of regular season play for the Point Loma women's soccer team. The Sea Lions hit the road to face Holy Names this Thursday (Nov. 2) at 1 p.m. PLNU has only one day of rest until they are on the road again to play their next match against Academy of Art (Nov. 4) at Noon.

A look at the Sea Lions
After the huge win against Concordia, 3-2, on Thursday (Oct. 26) and the tough loss against Biola, 0-1, Point Loma is now 7-7-1 and 6-5-0 in the PacWest. The Sea Lions are tied for fifth place with Concordia (CA), in the PacWest standings with 18 points. Freshman

Abbey Teagle tie for the team lead in goals scored with three.

Keagan Bolibol are close behind Smith and Watkins with two goals apiece. Swanson also shares the lead for assists with
Abbey Teagle each having four. Point Loma was able to squeeze out a win over Concordia with help from senior
Jennifer Ballez' goal with just thirty seconds left in overtime in this year's Senior Day match. Freshman goalkeeper
Brianna Linnell has 36 saves on the year and has a goal against average of 0.96. She is also tied for first in the conference in total shutouts with six.

A look at the Hawks
Holy Names women's soccer team is currently bringing up the rear (0-14-1, 0-9-1 PacWest) in the PacWest Conference with one point which it earned for a 0-0 tie against Hawaii Pacific. Holy Names has seven goals on the year and four assists. Shelby Johnson leads the Hawks with two goals. Harlie Valentine paces the squad with two assists. Holy Names goalkeepers, Alyssa Lopez and Vanessa Amaral, have 85 saves on the season and have a combined save percentage of .691.
A look at the Urban Knights
The Academy of Art women's soccer team (1-13-1,1-9-0 PacWest) sits in 13th place in the PacWest standings with three points. Last week, the Knights racked up two tough losses to the top 2 teams in the PacWest; first-place Cal Baptist (5-0) and second-place Azusa Pacific, 5-1. But the week before, the Knights picked up a win against Holy Names, winning 2-0 after freshman Alyssa Rasmussen put away the second and final goal less than 10 minutes into the second half. Abigail Chavez leads the team in goals this season with three. Chavez also leads the team is shots on goal percentage with .563. Sydney Cooke leads the Urban Knights in assists with two and Cooke also has one goal on the year. Goalkeepers, Maggie Alikpala-Wilson and Morgan Wirz have a total of 95 saves on the year and have a save percentage of .695.
