PacWest Implications
The Sea Lions finish the season with 24 points in conference play. Currently, PLNU is tied with Dixie State for fifth in the standings. The loss locks in 13th place for the Urban Knights with three points.
Â
The Turning Point
The goal by Kamanu finally gave PLNU a result for all its hard work. Point Loma had dominated many parts of the game up to that point but did not have a score. After Kamanu posted her first career goal the Sea Lions played more aggressive and were able to dictate the match the rest of the way.
