SEA LIONS AND LANCERS RENEW RIVALRY IN RIVERSIDE

This week
The Point Loma men's basketball team will travel to Riverside to play the California Baptist Lancers on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. Last season, these two teams played two of the most memorable games of the PacWest season. PLNU closed out Van Dyne Gym by coming back from a late 11-point deficit to defeat the No. 5 ranked Lancers. Then in the PacWest Tournament, PLNU upset No. 2 seed CBU on a last second shot by Mike Planeta. This year Point Loma will go into this first of two meetings this season at 6-4 while CBU comes in at 6-2.
