Point Loma will go head-to-head with last year's conference champion and archrival, California Baptist, in Riverside, Calif., on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 5 p.m.

Join the Green & Gold Watch Party
PLNU fans and students are invited to unite to watch the game on the big screen and cheer on their Sea Lions at the Green & Gold Watch Party at Buffalo Wild Wings on Midway Drive. Festivities start at 5pm with tip off of the women's game and continue all the way through the end of the men's game (start time 7pm). The restaurant will be decked out in green & gold spirit, featuring exclusive food specials with PLNU ID, cheerleaders, games, and lots of giveaways and prizes like front row VIP seating (including complimentary food & beverage) for the ESPN broadcast of the Sea Lions game on January 13, t-shirts, gift certificates and more, as the green & gold takes over to watch the Sea Lions on the big screen. Get ready to get LOUD!

A look at the Sea Lions
Point Loma enters the game at CBU leading the PacWest in scoring with 81.9 points per game. The Sea Lions are 5-3 on the season. They dropped their PacWest-opener at Azusa Pacific, 81-69.

Point Loma's Taylor Hepburn and Alex Brunk sit in the top five in conference for scoring. Hepburn is fourth with 18.3 ppg and Brunk ranks fifth with 17.5 ppg. Hepburn also has one of the highest field goal percentage, sitting second in conference a .614 percent. Roya Rustamzada has her named scattered throughout the conference leaderboards. She ranks second in both assists (5.0) and rebounds (10.1), sixth in steals (2.0) and 12th in scoring (14.8). She is 11th in the nation with five double-doubles.

In addition to leading the PacWest in scoring, PLNU also paces the league in field goal percentage (.436), rebounding (46.0) and blocked shots (5.3). The Sea Lions are also second in assists (17.4) and scoring margin (10.9). Defensively, PLNU allows 71.0 ppg and is third in the league with a .365 field goal percentage defense.

Record watch
Alex Brunk and Roya Rustamzada have both put together amazing careers over their four years with the Sea Lions. Both have climbed the record books in multiple categories and are closing in on multiple top 10 lists. Below is a list of their standings in the record books and the next person in front of them.

A look at the Lancers
California Baptist has not played since last Saturday when it defeated Chaminade in Hawaii, 90-84. The win was the third straight for the Lancers and brought their record to 4-4 (1-0 PacWest). This game will be the first of two homestands before the Lancers set out on another road trip. The Lancers rank among the conference leaders, standing in the top 10 in multiple categories. CBU is third in offensive rebounds (41.9), fourth in defensive field goal percentage (.361), fifth in scoring offense (72.5) and sixth in scoring margin (1.5).

Next Games
Next week, the Sea Lions take on Dominican in San Rafael, Calif., on Saturday Dec. 16 before traveling to Oakland, Calif., to contest against Academy of Art on Monday, Dec. 18. Tip-off at Dominican is at 2 p.m.. Tip at Academy of Art is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
